Dragonstorm is a group instance world boss version of the story chapter of the same name. It requires the expansion Guild Wars 2: Path of Fire to enter.
Getting there[edit]
- Speak to Brek Harrowflight in Hall of Monuments near
Eye of the North Waypoint — , Eye of the North.
- Private instance can be created with a squad at any time, with up to 50 players.
- Public instance opens every 2 hours for 20 minutes, with each instance supporting up to 80 players.

Walkthrough[edit]
Dragonstorm can be divided into 4 phases depending on the stage of objectives. The later phases add more AoE effects and crowd control moments.
- Phase 1 - Pre-objectives
The first phase is about clearing the staging area and fighting the Dragon champions for the first time.
- The player starts of by securing the Prism staging areas. Kill the destroyers and secure the areas.
- Ryland appears and needs to be brought down to 25% health. Dodge his AoE attacks and burn his health away.
- Braham then appears and also needs to be brought down to 25% health. Again dodge the attacks and burn his health away.
No more people can join after completing these objectives. So the party is locked. A cutscene occurs with both Elder Dragons appearing at the edges of the map.
- Phase 2 - Equalizing the Elder Dragons
The second phase is about equalizing the playing field between Jormag and Primordus.
- Jormag summons siphons in the northern part of the area. Destroy them.
- The two champions are now clashing in the center. Use crowd control to break the defiance bar.
- The group must now split in roughly half as the dragon champions must be killed within 20 seconds of the other dying.
- Burn their health and dodge their AoE attacks. The Elder Dragons also have large, but very predictable AoE attacks. Dodge and avoid those.
- When both champions are dead, the Elder Dragons become vulnerable. Run to the prism focal point and use the special action skill Prismatic Hyper Beam to attack the Elder Dragons. While in the air, the
Aurene's Protection is applied to the player. - Leave quickly after these special attacks, otherwise the player will die fast.
- Phase 3 - Damaging the Elder Dragons
As the dragons are on even grounds, both are scrambling for the advantage in this fight.
- Both Jormag and Primordus summon siphons in the northern and southern part of the area. Destroy them.
- The two champions are now clashing in the center. Use crowd control to break the defiance bar.
- The group must now split in roughly half as the dragon champions must be killed within 20 seconds of the other dying.
- Burn their health and dodge their AoE attacks. The Elder Dragons also have large, but very predictable AoE attacks. Dodge and avoid those.
- The champions will now perform massive AoE attacks. Use crowd control to interrupt them.
- When both champions are dead, the Elder Dragons become vulnerable. Run to the prism focal point and use the special action skill to attack the Elder Dragons.
- Leave quickly after these special attacks, otherwise the player will die fast.
- Phase 4 - End-phase
The Elder dragons are now weak and primed for their mutual kill.
- The two champions are now clashing in the center. Use crowd control to break the defiance bar.
- Both champions fall down and the Elder Dragons become vulnerable.
- Run to the prism and use the special action skill Aurene Power Transfer in order to assist Aurene in severing the magic from Jormag and Primordus.
- Aurene then pulls the player back, where they can observe the two Elder Dragons clashing.

- Dodge Jormag's attack which is indicated by a massive rectangular AoE.
- Can also be completed during the private story instance.
- Use actual Dodge rolls for this achievement. Simply stepping out of the AOE is not guaranteed to count.
- Mount evades with Adroit Evasion mastery do not count for this achievement.
- One attack consists of multiple hits and can be evaded multiple times, awarding more progress for the achievement.
