Defeat the bear spirit to prove your strength is a level 40 dynamic event that occurs in Toran Hollow at Bear's Jaws Shrine. The event can be triggered by kneeling (using /kneel emote) in front of the shrine.

These are the expected rewards for a level 40 player. Higher level players receive dynamically adjusted rewards.
Bear's Strength (only with the Howler III: Howl collection active)- 5 minute Blessing of Bear effect.
Walkthrough[edit]
The event is initiated by kneeling in front of the Bear shrine. Doing so will summon a Veteran Bear Spirit. The Spirit only uses melee, so ranged weapons and kiting make this an easy fight. At a third of its health, the bear will use Endure Pain, resisting damage for a few seconds.

Notes[edit]
- This event alternates with and will not start if Drive the grawl away from Bear's shrine is active.
- After completing the event, Shaman Lorna will be available as a merchant.
- The /kneel emote will work when the shrine is glowing blue.
