Ascended crafting

Ascended crafting is the crafting of ascended equipment and requires a level 500 crafting discipline.

Note that all items require ingredients that can only be crafted once per day as these are time-gated refinement recipes. Specifically the time gated ingredients are:

• Glob of Elder Spirit Residue (used in Spiritwood Plank)
• Lump of Mithrillium (used in Deldrimor Steel Ingot)
• Spool of Thick Elonian Cord (used in Elonian Leather Square)
• Spool of Silk Weaving Thread (used in Bolt of Damask)

Using the numbers below, this means that crafting a complete set of ascended armor set take a minimum of 36 days for light and medium armor or 25 days for heavy armor (18 of which is used to make the insignias). Weapons require 5-9 days each (3 days for the inscription with additional 2-4 days for the weapon components) depending on how the materials are spread out. These time gate may be circumvented by purchasing the materials or components from the Trading Post. Note: Ascended weapon components cannot be purchased off the trading post.

Ascended weapons

To craft Ascended weapons, players will first need to obtain an Ascended Inscription recipe sheet and use it to learn the recipe for the prefix they want (e.g. Recipe: Zojja's Berserker Inscription for Berserker stats). Players also need to obtain an ascended weapon recipe for the weapon with that specific prefix. For example, a greatsword with Berserker stats requires a Recipe: Zojja's Claymore. Recipes may be purchased from various merchants, such as a Master craftsman, or obtained as rewards from certain chests, containers or events. The prefix of the weapon recipe and the inscription recipe must match.

Ascended armor

Ascended trinkets

Primary article: Ascended trinket

The only crafted Ascended trinkets are Triforge Pendant (ascended) and Vial of Salt through the Mystic Forge.

Ascended back items

Primary article: Ascended back item

Most Ascended back items are crafted using the Mystic Forge, such as the Quiver of Swift Flight and Tempered Spinal Blades. Certain back items require recipes, such as Light of Dwayna. The recipes do not follow a common pattern.
