Wintersday: The Wondrous Workshop of Toymaker Tixx is a winter-themed game release that will be live from December 14th, 2012 through January 3rd, 2013. The content will involve the Toymaker Tixx and his massive airship toy workshop, which will visit every major city in Tyria. It will be introduced during Wintersday.
A brief list of the game features include:
- Wintersday event
- A special event for the game release
- Breakout events in World versus World
- 6 new crafting materials (snowflakes) and 275 new crafting recipes, including the new Giver's attribute combination
